Salam Sejahtera kepada semua rakyat Malaysia,<\/p>\n

Pengisytiharan Mahkamah Tinggi dalam menyatakan Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin sebagai Menteri Besar Perak yang sah adalah tepat pada waktunya. Peguam beliau menyatakan “Hanya satu cara sahaja Nizar boleh diketepikan, yakni dengan undi tidak percaya di dalam sidang. Beliau boleh meminta Paduka Seri membubarkan sidang DUN di tengah-tengah persidangan tanpa meminta undi tidak percaya”<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ternyata, kuasa pemerintahan Negeri, yakni Polis dan Setiausaha Negeri telah menjalankan tugas mereka dengan berat sebelah. Kedua-dua pihak ini telah mengenepikan kepentingan majoriti kerana hendak memuaskan nafsu minoriti. Penahanan-penahanan rakus yang dibuat oleh pihak polis baru-baru ini boleh menjadikan Malaysia sebagai negara yang tidak bertamadun. Adalah penting rakyat jelata memberhentikan proses ini dengan serta-merta.<\/p>\n

Dengan keputusan mahkamah yang telah menentukan siapa Menteri Besar yang sah, saya yakin, isu ketelusan, keadilan, dan yang paling penting, konsep demokrasi akan dimartabatkan untuk menegakkan suara rakyat yang sah.<\/p>\n

Good day to all Malaysians,<\/p>\n

The decision by the High Court to uphold the fact that Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaludin comes at a time when Malaysia needs it most. I quote his counsel “The only way Nizar could be dismissed, was through a no-confidence vote in the House… The MB could request for the State Assembly to be dissolved in the middle of a term without losing the confidence of the majority of the House”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Evidently, the instruments of power, particularly the police and the state secretary is biased in executing their duties. Their role no longer serves the interest of the many, but only a select few. Selective persecution such as lawyers -while exercising their statutory duties- and Members of Parliament while voicing out the concerns of their constituents- by the police is proof that Malaysia is well on our way to becoming a pariah state if we don’t put a stop to this mayhem.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the affirmation of the legitimate Menteri Besar, I hope that transparency, justice, and above all, the protection of democracy will now ensue and that the majority’s voice can now be heard.\u00a0<\/p>\n
