BOON OR BANE? MALAYSIAN-LINKED PALM OIL & TIMBER BUSINESS INTERESTS IN INDONESIA & PAPUA NEW GUINEA<\/div>\n
Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) is pleased to invite interested parties to a private forum to discuss some of the environmental and social impacts of Malaysian-linked palm oil and timber business interests in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea from the perspectives of local organisations working on the ground and the affected communities.<\/div>\n
The private forum will feature speakers from non-governmental organisations from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, including testimonies from affected community representatives. The participating organisations are:<\/div>\n
