Nurul Izzah Anwar, the MP for Lembah Pantai, was present yesterday as one of the 4 panelists at Liew Chin Tong\u2019s (MP for Bukit Bendera) launch of his book called, \u201cSpeaking for the Reformasi Generation\u201d. <\/p>\n
The event was held at the Annexe Gallery, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur from 4pm, along with 3 other panelists, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (State Assemblyman for Seri Setia), Hannah Yeoh (State Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya) and the author, Liew Chin Tong himself. <\/p>\n
Nurul Izzah, in commending Liew\u2019s effort in taking up the mantle to elucidate young readers as well as the older generation as to the movement of Reformasi, provided a warm though poignant recollections of her own struggle during that critical period. She further called upon the young to actively participate in the continuing journey of Reformasi, to embrace a future of hope and change in the Malaysian political system. <\/p>\n
